All About Me! (Machine Embroidery) For everyone who has an embroidery machine -- any brand!
This is a lecture/demonstration series designed to help you take your machine embroidery to a whole new level. Whether you just got your If you don’t have an embroidery machine, but you’re interested about how they work and what you can do with one, you are welcome in this class, too. If you decide you just can’t live without an embroidery machine, your $10 class fee will be applied to your purchase. Here are the dates and topics for this term. Note - No Class In July

Camp Shirt Nothing says summer like a fun camp shirt. Using a Kwik-Sew pattern, Millie will guide you through the construction process while giving you tips on seaming, pressing, interfacing, topstitching and buttonholes. Need a refresher on your 8th Grade sewing skills? Or maybe you’re a quilter who would like to explore garment construction. This is a great class for you. Basic sewing and machine skills are all that’s required.

Kids Sew Summer Camp Freddie Smithies, our Kids Sew teacher, really enjoys sharing her love of sewing with the next generations -- and the kids love learning from her. She has developed some very creative, fun classes to teach them basic sewing skills while they make exciting projects they’ll be proud to show their friends. Sewing is an excellent confidence builder, and a skill they will use the rest of their lives. Join Freddie on July 19, 20, 21 & 22 for four days of great sewing. Make a beach cover-up, a sun hat, and a great beach bag. Beginning sewers are welcome! * fee includes some of the supplies. See the Class Supply list for what else to bring. Machine Instruction When you purchase your JANOME, PFAFF or BERNINA sewing machine, serger or embroidery machine at Paramount, you get FREE, one-on-one unlimited machine instruction/lessons. We want you to learn how to use your new machine, so please call to schedule your personal lessons at your earliest convenience.
Serger Basics In addition to your one-on-one lessons, you are welcome to attend Serger Basics. Designed to make you comfortable with your new serger, this class covers threading, tension settings, and basic serger applications. This is a 1-part class, offered twice this term. When you sign up, please tell us your machine brand and model number.

first embroidery machine, or you have been embroidering for a while, this series will provide you with lots of hints, tips and tricks to improve your stitchouts. Each month we will show new projects, and you will have a chance to see and possibly try the techniques shown in the class. You will also receive a CD to take home with all the information covered in the class. You don’t need to bring anything to class, except your smile and maybe a notepad.
This term, we are also teaching a new series of lessons called “My BERNINA Sewing Machine”. For those who are familiar with BERNINA Mastery classes, this new series has replaced the Mastery series. My BERNINA Sewing Machine lessons cover all the basics of your new BERNINA sewing machine. This is a 3-part class, offered at two different times.
Learn the ins and outs of your BERNINA or Deco embroidery machine. From the basics of hooping to customizing designs and Endless Embroidery, you’ll discover all you need to get the most from your embroidery system. This is a 2-part class, offered once this term.
For our BERNINA 8 Series owners, we are offering the BERNINA 8 Series Mastery Live. This class is “virtual”, using only your laptop computer with the 8 Series Simulator installed. This is a 6-part class, offered once this term.
